Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

View Supporting Documents

You can view uploaded documents directly from the Supporting Document dialog box. You can view a document in a preview window and then print or download it..

Prerequisites: Open a transaction file.

If you use the Vantagepoint on-premises product, the Supporting Document dialog box displays only if Transaction Document Management is configured. For more information, see the Supporting Documents and Files online help topic.

To view a document on the Supporting Documents dialog box:

  1. In the transaction grid of the Transaction Entry form, in the Document column, click the or icon.
  2. On the Supporting Document dialog box, select the document that you want to view.
  3. Hover the cursor at the end of the row of the transaction entry and then click or > View PDF.
    A viewer displays, showing a preview of the document in PDF format. All uploaded documents, regardless of their original format, are converted to PDF format.
