Specify Calendar Settings

A key component of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is the ability to schedule activities and link those activities to your contacts, marketing campaigns, employees, and project records. Your activities can include phone calls, meetings, tasks, and other important business functions and you can specify the settings for how your calendar displays.

To specify calendar settings:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Calendar.
  2. At the bottom of the Calendar form, click Calendar Settings.
  3. On the Calendar Settings dialog box, specify the following:

    View Use these checkboxes to specify the day or days of the week that you want to display on your calendar. The default view includes all days except Saturday and Sunday.
    Week Starts On Select the day that you want the calendar week to start on.
    Time Scale Use this drop-down to specify the increments of time that display for the Time Scale on the Week and Day views.
    Date Format Use this drop-down to specify the format for the date on the calendar. Vantagepoint defaults to displaying the date format that is selected in My Preferences. When you change the date format in Calendar Settings, it also changes the default date format in My Preferences.
  4. Optional: Click Save.
