Change the Sort Order

Vantagepoint applies sorting and grouping criteria in the order that they are listed on the Grouping and Sorting grid on the Columns tab or Groups tab or Columns and Groups tab. Vantagepoint first sorts by the first selected criterion in the list, then by the second, and so on. To change that order, move criteria up or down in the list.

To move a sort criterion:

  1. Depending on your report, click the Columns tab, Groups tab, or Columns and Groups tab.
  2. Navigate to the Grouping and Sorting grid.
  3. Click in the row for the criterion that you want to move.
  4. Click and drag the row up or down in the grid.
  5. After you set all report options:
    1. Click Save to save it as a favorite.
    2. Click Run to preview it.
