Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Hide a Column in an Existing Dashpart

Hide a column in a dashpart when you don't need to display that column on the dashboard. You can hide columns in table dashparts. For chart dashparts, you can only hide columns with the decimal or currency data type.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To hide a column in a dashpart:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. Click Dashpart Library.
  4. In the Dashpart Library pane, hover over the dashpart with the column that you need to hide on the Dashpart Designer form.
  5. Click .
  6. In the column table area at the bottom of the Dashpart Designer form, find the column or columns that you need to hide and click the corresponding toggle option under Hide Column.
  7. Click Save.
