Linked Project field for the regular project to remove the link.
To remove the link between a regular project and a promotional project:
-
In the Navigation pane, select
.
-
At the top of the form, enter either a complete or partial name or number in the
Find project
lookup field to find and select the project for which you want to remove the link to a promotional project.
-
From the Overview tab, do either of the following:
- Click
next to the
Linked Project field.
- Click
Edit on the Actions bar, and click in the
Linked Project field.
-
Click
at the end of the field to remove the link.
-
If you clicked
Edit on the Actions bar in step 3, click
Save.
-
When a confirmation message displays, click
Unlink.
Vantagepoint removes the link between the two projects. Note, however, that no other data is changed. Field values for the promotional project that were set to match values for the regular project when the two were linked will remain the same after the link is removed. If that is not what you want, select the promotional project and make the necessary changes.
