Search for Documents by Text

You can search against titles and descriptions of documents within the DMS using the Live Browsing feature in the PIM Mobile Working app. For some document types, such as Microsoft Office documents, it also searches the content within the documents.

To search for documents in the mobile app:

1. Log in to the PIM Mobile Working app.
2. Tap Live PIM Browsing.
3. Tap Search Documents.
4. In the Search Documents field, enter partial or whole text to search against, and tap .
   To exclude emails from your search results, tap the Exclude Emails check box to select it.
   The top 100 documents that match your search criteria display.
5. Optional: Tap a document to view its details.
   When you view the details of a document, you can do the following:
   • Tap View Document to open the document within the PIM Mobile Working app. Only supported file types can be viewed in the app - this includes Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, and image files.
   • Tap Export to download a copy of the document to your device. After you download a document, you can view it in another app, and share it with colleagues.
   • Tap Additional Details to view details about the document, such as version comments, received date, document date, size, source, and so on.
   • Tap a linked contact or organization to view its record.
