Restore a Document

You can restore a document that a user has sent to the Recycle Pool. When you restore a document, you can modify the document pools and attributes that the document was originally linked to.

To restore a document:

  1. On the header bar, click Admin.
  2. In the Search Admin Zones field at the top, enter Recycled Documents.
  3. Click the Recycled Documents link that displays.
  4. Search for the document that you want to restore.
    To display all recycled documents, click Run Search without defining any search criteria.
  5. Click for the document that you want to restore.
  6. Optional: On the Check In Document window, select the document pools that you want to restore the document to.
    By default, the document pools that the document was originally linked to are pre-selected. You can modify the associated document pools, if required.
  7. Optional: In the Select Attributes panel, select any document attributes to associate with the document.
    By default, all previous attributes that were associated with the document are pre-selected. You can modify the attributes, if required.
  8. Click Next to advance through the wizard to modify the document details, define email recipients, and create actions.
  9. Click Finish.
