Re-enable a Work Package

If a work package has already been awarded to a tender, and a subcontractor then rescinds their offer, or if you want to award it to a different subcontractor, you can re-enable the work package. This enables you to send the work package out for tender again.

To re-enable a work package:

  1. Navigate to the project or enquiry.

    You can search for projects and enquiries using the Search Projects or Search Enquiries links in the Activity Zone. Projects and enquiries that you are linked to also appear on the History tab on your contact record, and in the Projects and Enquiries dashparts in the Personal Zone.

  2. Click the Tendering tab.
    If the Tendering tab is not visible, click more to display all available tabs.
  3. On the header row of the work package that you want to re-enable, click .
  4. On the Re-enable Workpackage window, click Re-enable Workpackage.

When you re-enable a work package, you must manually remove the previously-awarded organization from the Organizations and Contacts band on the General tab on the project record. For information, see Remove an Organization from a Project.
