Definitions of Notification Group Fields

Use these fields to add and edit absence notification groups.

Field Description
Name Enter the name for the notification group. You should use a name that clearly represents the type of rule, such as who the rule is designed for.
Contact Role Select a contact role that you want to notify when any of the selected absence events occur.
User Role Select a user role that you want to notify when any of the selected absence events occur.
Notify Absentee Select this option to notify absence requestors when any of the selected absence events linked to their absence requests occur.
Notify Approvers Select this option to notify absence approvers when any of the selected absence events occur for absence requests which they are assigned as approvers.
Approval Route Select the approval route which the rule applies to. If you do not select an approval route, all approval routes apply to the rule.
Category Select the category which the rule applies to.
Absence Event Click to select which absence events you want to send notifications about. You can select multiple events per notification group.
