Manage Access to Record Field Sets

Each record type has a number of field sets. These are also referred to as bands. Use the User Role Band Security grid to grant access to record bands for selected roles. When you grant a role with access to a band, all users with the role have access to it.

To manage access to bands:

1. On the header bar, click Admin.
2. In the Search Admin Zones field at the top, enter Band Security.
3. Click the Band Security link that displays.
4. In the User Role Band Security grid, do the following for a given role:
   • Enter a value in a cell to grant the relevant access rights to the role. When you click in a cell, the available options for the band are displayed in the legend at the top of the grid.
   • Clear a cell to remove the role's access to a band.
5. Click to save the changes.
