Add a Response on Behalf of Someone Else

You can add a response to a contract item on behalf of someone else. This might be a verbal or email response that you have received from another project team member.

To add a response on behalf of someone else:

  1. Navigate to the Personal Zone
  2. On the CM Notifications Dashpart, click to expand the CM Item For Review section.
    If the CM Notifications Dashpart is not displayed, click to add it.
  3. Click for the item that you want to action.
  4. On the contract item page that displays, click Offline Reply.
  5. On the Respond on behalf of form, use the Reply From list to select the project member that has provided the response.
  6. On the Reply Date field, click the date picker, and select the date when the response was received.
  7. Optional: Under Attach Response Documents, click Upload Files to upload a supporting file.
  8. Click Submit Reply.
    If the contract type is configured to notify users, all recipients linked to the item receive an email to notify them about the response.
