Add a Contract Management Type Group

You can add a new contract management type group. These are used to group similar contract management items together, and assist users when they create contract management items for projects.

To add a contract management type group:

  1. Navigate to the Workflow Zone.
    If the Workflow tab is not visible on the main header bar, click more to access the additional zones.
  2. Click the System Actions tab.
  3. In the Contract Management section, click Configure Contract Management.
  4. On the Manage Contract Management Settings screen, in the General Settings section, click next to Edit Type Groups.
  5. On the Edit Contract Management Type Groups screen, click .
  6. On the Add New Contract Management Type screen, do the following:
    1. In the Name field, enter a name for the contract management type group. For example, Requests, NEC3 Items, Submittals, and so on.
    2. In the Icon field, select the icon to use for all items under the group. The icon is displayed on the respective tile when users create new contract management items for a project.
  7. Click Add New Type.
