Add Files to Your Working Files Folder via the Local File Management page

You can add files to your working files folder via the Local File Management page.

The Local File Management component must be installed and running on your PC.

To add files to your working files folder via the Local File Management page:

  1. To display the Local File Management page, do either of the following:
    • Navigate to the Information Zone, and then click the Local File Management tab.
    • Right-click the Deltek Local File Management icon in your system tray and choose Local File Management Page.
  2. On the Local File Management page, click Add Files.
Windows File Explorer opens and displays your working files folder.
  3. In the Windows file picker window, click the file that you want to add to your local working files folder to select it.
To select multiple files, press and hold the CTRL key.
  4. Click Open.

Alternatively, you can open your local folder directly in Windows File Explorer. To open your local folder, click Open Local Folder on the Local File Management page. When the local folder is open, you can then cut/copy and paste files into it.

After you add files to your working files folder, you can publish them to PIM through the Local File Management page. For information, see Publish Documents.
