Edit Document Information

You edit a document to update the document number, title, revision, originating organization, and notes.

You must have the required privileges to edit a document.
Note: Documents originating from a cloud account cannot be edited.

To edit the information of a document:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Spaces.
  2. Click the space to navigate to it. To search for a space, enter the name in the Search Spaces field.
  3. Click the Documents tab to select it.
  4. Navigate to the folder where the document is stored.
  5. Click the document you want to edit.
  6. In the Summary tab of the Document Information dialog box, click Edit. The document information fields are now editable.
  7. Enter the changes you want to make.
  8. Click Save.
