Customizations

The DFME Flex offering allows for the majority of UI changes (it does not allow Java extensions), as well as the addition of Custom Reports and Universes to the clients. If you have not licensed this add-on product but are interested in learning more, please contact your Account Manager.

Within Maconomy Essentials (DFME) Flex, customer-specific layout changes that do not require Java Extensions are allowed to the Workspace Client, iAccess and Touch. Custom notifications are also allowed within DFME Flex.

As examples the following changes would be allowed in DFME Flex:
  • Changing fields in layouts
  • Changing workspace structures
  • Embedding BPM reports
  • Notifications
  • Adding pages to wizards
  • Context aware web content
  • Input validation rules
  • Define new styles
  • Add new views
  • Data dependent layouts
As examples the following would NOT be allowed in DFME Flex:
  • Adding custom fields to workspaces
  • Adding custom actions to workspaces

Note: If issues exist in customer specific layouts, customer specific notifications, customer developed reports, and customer developed universes that are not part of the standard product, you will be required to either resolve these issues yourself or through an engagement with Deltek Professional Services. Please contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager to arrange assistance.
