Overtime Premium Amount Subtask

Use this subtask to view or edit the FLSA overtime premium amounts that will be added to W-2s as a part of the OBBBA (One Big Beautiful Bill Act).

The overtime premium amounts can be automatically populated through the Recompute Taxable Wages screen. Records may also be manually added, edited, or deleted through this subtask.

Field	Description
Timesheet Type	This field displays the timesheet type from the associated timesheet.
Timesheet Date	This field displays the timesheet date from the associated timesheet.
Overtime Pay Time	Select to enter the overtime pay type for the timesheet line data.
Overtime Hours	Select to edit the overtime hours for the timesheet.
Overtime Rate/Weighted Average Rate	Select to edit the employee's overtime hourly rate or weighted average rate. This rate will be used to calculate the overtime premium amount.
Pay Type Factor	Select to enter the pay type factor for the timesheet line data.
Hourly Base Rate	This field displays the regular hourly rate based on the overtime rate/weighted average rate divided by the pay type factor.
Overtime Premium Rate	The overtime premium rate is a calculated field that is equal to half of the employee's hourly rate.
Overtime Premium Amount	The overtime premium amount is a calculated field that is equal to the overtime premium rate multiplied by the overtime hours.
