Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Test a Storage Provider

Use the Storage and Folders submodule to test a storage provider.

To use the Storage and Folders submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To test a storage provider:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the storage provider that you want to test.
  3. In the left navigation pane of the Settings screen, click Folders, Reports & Documents > Storage and Folders.
  4. Click the Storage provider tab.
  5. Highlight a storage provider in the grid and click Test storage provider on the grid toolbar.
  6. In the Enter directory in which to run tests field of the Test Storage Provider dialog box, enter test, and click Run test.
