System Variable 993: Use Simple Window When Creating a New Job

Use this System Variable to determine the window type of the Create New Job dialog box that appears when creating new jobs.

This System Variable is enabled by default. When it is enabled, the simple window of the Create New Job dialog box appears when creating a new job. If it is not enabled, the advanced window appears, which gives you access to values such as:

• Who is the Project Manager on the job?
• Who is the Account Manager on the job?
• What Price List should be used?
• Who is the Client Contact?
• Who can enter time on the job?
• Is the job billable or not?

Note: If System Variable 1158 is enabled, the Project Manager field will be shown even in the simple window of the Create New Job dialog box.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
