System Variable 1034: File Extensions Allowed When Uploading a File to a Voucher

Use this System Variable to determine the permitted file types that you can upload to the Storage Provider—for example, as attachments to vouchers and documents on jobs, tasks, chats, and so on.

When you try to upload a file, WorkBook checks its type against the list of file types or file extensions that is specified by this System Variable. If the file's type is not one of the allowed extensions, WorkBook blocks the upload and displays the following error message:
The file type that you are trying to upload is not allowed. Please check System Variable 1034 for the allowed file extensions.

This setting allows the extensions png, jpeg, jpg, txt, htm, html, doc, docx, xlsx, wav, and pdf. Use commas (,) to separate each file extension, but spaces after commas are optional.

WorkBook uses System Variable 1034 only during manual uploads. It cannot use System Variable 1034 on automatic uploads, such as those done through agents, because it cannot reject vouchers during an automatic upload.

The default values for this System Variable are png, jpeg, jpg, png, txt, htm, html, doc, docx, xlsx, pdf, heic.

Note: The following file types are always allowed, even if they are not included in the value of System Variable 1034: csv, bmp, data, gif, mht, odt, rft, wav, xls, xml.
Warning: System Variable 1034 cannot be blank or null. If you try to use a blank or null value, a system error occurs. In addition, the following file types are not allowed: app, bat, bin, cmd, dll, dmg, exe, jar, js, msi, ps1, sh, src, vb, and vbs. If you try to add any of these extensions to the value of System Variable 1034, a system error also occurs.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
