Set Up a Financial Postings Report

Use the Financial Postings Report submodule to set up a financial postings report, which you can generate in the Charts of Accounts submodule.

To use the Financial Postings Report submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To set up a financial postings report:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company for which you want to set up a financial postings report.
  3. In the left navigation pane of the Settings screen, click Folders, Reports & Documents > Financial Postings Report (264).
  4. Click the Overview tab.
  5. On the grid toolbar, click Add new report setup .
    WorkBook displays the item in the grid.
  6. Specify a name for the report.
  7. Click the Setup tab.
  8. Highlight an item to define its parameters.
    Each grid item represents the columns of the report. The report has 12 columns.
  9. In the subgrid of the Setup screen, click Add a new data line .
    WorkBook displays the item in the grid.
  10. Double-click the cell to specify or select values for the following columns:
    • Column label
    • To account
    • Argument
    • Date scale
    • Date offset
    Tip: You can apply an indefinite number of account sequences to a column.
  11. To define parameters for other columns, repeat steps 8 to 10.
