Use the Employee Settings submodule to reset passwords and email temporary passwords to affected users.
To use the Employee Settings submodule, you must have access to
Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To reset a password and email it to the user:

On the main toolbar, click
Settings
.

If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the account whose password you want to reset and email to the employee.

In the left pane of the Settings screen, click
.

Highlight the employee account whose password you want to reset and on the grid toolbar, click
and select
Reset password and email it to the user.
Note: Make sure that the employee has an email address and login name associated with the account.

In the confirmation dialog box, click
Yes.
