Document Templates

Use Document Templates in the Folders, Reports, & Documents submodule in the Settings module to create or upload briefing templates that you can use for jobs, resources, pipelines, tasks, and contact job requests. Using templates ensures formatting and language consistency.

Using Document Templates in WorkBook

You can use document templates in the following areas:
  • The Resources tab of the resource information card
  • The Briefing tab of a job card

Adding Data Tags

To insert specific data into document templates, you can use data tags. Data tags are available from the column at the right of the page.

Limitations

The document editor does not replace a full-featured text editing application such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. WorkBook does not guarantee that the document preview can produce the same output when printed. You may need to edit the template to get the output to print correctly.

To use Document Templates, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.
