Costs

Use Costs under Jobs to view all the cost entries of the job that you selected in Jobs List. It enables you to track the cost and expenses of a job to ensure that it stays within budget.

To use the Costs submodule, you must have access to Jobs as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

This submodule consists of the following tabs:

  • Summary: This tab displays a summary of all the expenses of the selected job - what has been scheduled, approved, and invoiced. You can view different summary information depending on the list view that you selected from the drop-down list of the tab toolbar.
  • Hours: This tab displays all the hours logged for the selected job. You can update cost and sales prices, move hours to another job, and change the activity number and task on individual time entries. You can also sort entries in different ways depending on the option that you selected from the drop-down list of the tab toolbar.
  • Materials: This tab displays all material entries for the selected job. You can add administration fees and material entries. You can also sort entries in different ways depending on the option that you selected from the drop-down list of the tab toolbar.
  • Purchases: This tab displays all purchases for the selected job. You can move job vouchers and change activities and tasks. You can also sort entries in different ways depending on the option that you selected from the drop-down list of the tab toolbar.
  • Purchase Orders: This tab displays all open purchase orders for the selected job. You can settle purchase orders and view cost details, supplier invoices, and accrued vouchers.
  • Adjustments: This tab displays all adjustments for the selected job. You can create, delete, and approve adjustments.
  • Invoice Overview: This tab displays all pending invoices for the selected job.
  • Financial Postings: This tab displays all financial postings for the selected job. You can sort postings in different ways depending on the option that you selected from the drop-down list of the tab toolbar.
  • Open Entries: This tab displays all entries and transactions that have not yet been booked for the selected job.
