Convert a Task To a Ticket

Use the Tasks submodule to convert tasks to tickets.

To use Tasks, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To convert a task to a ticket:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. In the left pane of the Jobs page, click Jobs List and highlight the job containing the task that you want to convert.
  3. In the left pane of the Jobs page, click Tasks.
  4. On the Tasks page, click the Tasks tab.
  5. In the grid, highlight the task that you want to convert and click Task Settings on the tab toolbar.
  6. On the Task card, click the Basic Settings tab, then click Context Menu > Convert Task to Ticket.
  7. In the Convert Task to Ticket dialog box, specify the required information and click OK.
