Company Variable 1: Sales Tax Column on Job Invoice
Use this Company Variable to determine if the Sales Tax column should be displayed on job invoices.
You can select one of the following options for this setting:
- 1 - Hide: This option hides all tax-related information in a job invoice.
- 2 - Show read only: This option allows you to view but not add, remove, or update tax-related information in a job invoice.
- 3 - Show and allow edit: This option allows you to add, remove, or update tax-related information in a job invoice.
The default value of this Company Variable is 1 - Hide.
If a job invoice is under preparation and there is a tax amount added, selecting 1 - Hide for this setting hides all tax-related columns and removes the tax amount. On the other hand, if a job invoice is already approved internally and there is a tax amount added, selecting 1 - Hide hides only the tax-related columns. The tax amount is still part of the invoice total and is visible in the footer.
It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying Company Variable values.
