Contents of the Calculated Field Options Dialog Box

Use these fields and options to add or edit a calculated field for a data export definition.

Field Description
Calculated Field List This list displays all the calculated fields that are created for the data export definition. The column name that you enter for a calculation displays in this list.
+ New Calculation Click this option to open the Calculated Fields dialog box and create a new calculated field.

Hover over an existing calculated field in the list, click , and then select one of the following menu items:

  • Edit: This opens the Calculated Fields dialog box, on which you can edit the calculation.
  • Copy: This copies the selected calculated field to create a new calculated field. The new calculated field is added to the list.
  • Delete: This permanently deletes the selected calculated field.
Select Select an existing calculated field in the Calculated Fields list, and click this option to add the calculated field to the data export definition. The calculated field automatically displays in the Data Export Definition Columns grid on the Definition Setup form.
Cancel Click this button to close the dialog box without making a selection.
