Note that Select Resources and the remaining search fields function independently of each other. If you select specific resources in Select Resources and you also select search other criteria, the search joins those two sets of criteria using an OR conjunction and returns resources that satisfy either set of criteria. For example, if you select a set of specific employees in Select Resources and you also select CADD Technician in Skills, the search returns both the full set of specific employees you selected, regardless of their skills, AND any employees or generic resources that have the CADD Technician skill. |
| Resource Type | If this field is blank, the search includes both employees and generic resources. To restrict the search, select either the Employees Only or Generic Resources Only option in this field. If you choose Generic Resources Only, some other fields in the dialog box are disabled. |
| Status | To restrict the search to resources with a specific status (only those with the Active status, for example), select the status. |
| Utilization | If your search includes named resources (Resource Type is either blank or contains
