Display the Chart Options Dialog Box

Access the dialog box from the Dashpart Designer form when you create or modify a chart dashpart.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

These steps do not apply for the following dashpart bases:
  • Favorite Report
  • Web URL
  • Vantagepoint Intelligence
  • Memo
  1. In the Navigation pane, select Dashboards and then select one of these actions:
    • If no dashboards have been created, select Dashboard.
    • If one or more dashboards exist, select a dashboard under one of these submenus: My Dashboards, Personal, or All Dashboards. The submenus available depend on your role’s access rights.
  2. On the toolbar of the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. Access the Chart Options dialog box while creating or editing a dashpart.

    1. On the edit mode toolbar, click + New Dashpart.
    2. On the Add New Dashpart dialog box, enter a dashpart title, select an applicable Dashpart Base, set Dashpart Type to Chart, and click Continue.
    3. On the Select Dashpart Columns dialog box, select the columns to include in the dashpart and click Continue.
    4. On the Dashpart Designer form, click Chart Options.
    While editing a dashpart
    1. On the open dashboard with the chart dashpart you want to edit, click on the dashpart header and select Edit.

      Alternatively, click Dashpart Library on the edit mode toolbar, hover over a chart dashpart in the Dashpart Library pane, and click .

    2. On the Dashpart Designer form, click Chart Options.
