Remove Dashparts from a Dashboard

If you find that you no longer need a dashpart, you can remove it from your dashboard. The dashpart still exists in the Dashpart Library and can be restored to the dashboard at a later time.

You must have the appropriate access rights to modify dashparts and dashboards.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To remove dashparts from a dashboard:

1. In the Navigation pane, select Dashboards and then select one of these actions:
   • If no dashboards have been created, select Dashboard.
   • If one or more dashboards exist, select a dashboard under one of these submenus: My Dashboards, Personal, or All Dashboards. The submenus available depend on your role’s access rights.
2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

   The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

3. In the list of dashboards on the Navigation pane, select the dashboard that you want to modify.
4. In the dashboard area, click at the upper-right corner of the dashpart that you want to remove from the display and select Remove.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed and then click Save.
