Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Display the Dashpart Designer Form

Access the Dashpart Designer from the Dashpart Library pane.

This form is accessible to users with the appropriate role access rights to save dashboards and dashparts for all roles.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. On the edit mode toolbar:.
    • Click + New Dashpart and follow the step-by-step workflow for creating a new dashpart, or
    • Click Dashpart Library to display the Dashpart library pane, then:
      • If you are creating a dashpart, click + New Dashpart and follow the step-by-step workflow for creating a new dashpart.
      • If you are editing a dashpart, hover over a dashpart in the pane and click .
    The Dashboards form becomes hidden from view and the Dashpart Designer form displays.
