Create a Series of Recurring Activities

You can create recurring activities from the Activities hub, the Calendar, the My Activities dashpart, or any hub that contains an Activities grid. Each occurrence in the series is linked to contacts (qualified and leads), firms (client and vendor), projects, marketing campaigns, employees, and user-defined hubs.

To create a series of recurring activities:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Hubs > Activities.
  2. In the Header fields at the top of the Activities form, click + New Activity to display the Activity form.
    This option is available only if you have access rights that allow you to add records.
  3. In the Name field on the Overview tab, enter a name for the activity.
  4. Enter additional information about the activity, such as start and end dates, a time frame, and a reminder.
  5. Set the details of the recurrence of the activity:
    1. In the Repeats field, select the frequency of the activity, such as Daily or Weekly.
    2. In the Repeat section, specify when you want the activity to repeat.
      For example, if you are creating a monthly activity, you can set the activity to repeat on a particular date, such as the 15th of every month, or on a particular day of the month, such as the last Tuesday of each month.
    3. In the Ends field, set the date on which the activities stop repeating.
      You can end the recurrence by a specific date or by the number of occurrences.

      Recurring activities display in activity grids and on the calendar for one year. If the activity has been recurring for more than one year, only the activity information for the past year is displayed.

  6. Click Save.
    The series appears as a line item in the Activity grid.

To view or edit a single occurrence in the series, open the specific date on the Calendar, My Activities dashpart, or in Activities grid in an associated hub.
