Evenly Distribute an Annual Amount

One way to enter period-by-period budgets for an account is to enter a total annual budget and have it distributed evenly across all periods in the year. You can set the distribution to run automatically or run it manually.

To distribute annual budget amounts:

  1. Select one of the following actions:
    • Select the Automatically distribute annual budgets option on the Budget tab of the Consolidated G/L Budgeting form.
    • In the Budget grid, for each account that you want to adjust, enter the annual budget in the Annual field and then click Distribute Annual on the grid toolbar.
  2. Click Save.
