Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Actions Bar for the Posting Review Form

Use the Actions bar to filter posted individual transactions or transaction files, print the posting review log, or access report options.

Commonly Used Actions

Click the buttons on the Actions bar to access commonly performed actions.

Field Description
Print Posting Log Review Click this option to print a Posting Log Review report, which indicates any processing run that was not successful and not canceled. This report may indicate a possible posting interrupt, which could affect your data integrity.
Print Click this option to print a transaction record from either the All Transaction form or the Transaction Entry form. When you print a transaction, you can specify if you want to show report options for the transaction report or hide them. Showing report options allows you to access a Layout tab where you can define the document properties for the report.
Click this icon to filter the transaction files in the list. For example, you can filter the list to only show items that you posted or that are in progress.
Click this icon to add or remove columns in the grid.

Other Actions

Click this menu to perform the following actions:

Field Description
Report Options Click this option to show or hide the Report Options that impact printing.
  • If Show Report Options is selected, the Layout dialog box displays. Use this dialog box to set the layout options for the printed transaction. After determining the layout, click Print to run the report.
  • If Hide Report Options is selected, the report runs automatically when the Print option is selected.
