Modify an Existing Dashpart

Update a dashpart to include the information that you need to view on a dashboard.

This procedure is applicable for table and chart dashparts. You cannot modify a system dashpart.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

For the contents of a workbook that are displayed in a Vantagepoint Intelligence dashpart, you can only modify the contents in the Vantagepoint Intelligence Desktop Tool.

To modify an existing dashpart:

1. In the Navigation pane, select Dashboards and then select one of these actions:
   • If no dashboards have been created, select Dashboard.
   • If one or more dashboards exist, select a dashboard under one of these submenus: My Dashboards, Personal, or All Dashboards. The submenus available depend on your role’s access rights.
2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

   The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

3. You can edit a dashpart from the dashboard that includes the dashpart, or from the Dashpart Library.

   Option	Description
   From the dashboard	In the list of dashboards on the Navigation pane, select the dashboard with the dashpart that you need to modify. In the dashboard area, click the found at the upper right corner of a dashpart and select Edit. On the Dashpart Designer form, modify the dashpart. Click Save.
   From the Dashpart Library	On the edit mode toolbar, click Dashpart Library. In the Dashpart Library pane, hover over the dashpart that you want to edit. Click . On the Dashpart Designer form, modify the dashpart. Click Save.
