Project Dashpart Base Columns

Columns for the project dashpart base are available on the Select Dashpart Columns dialog box.

The following column descriptions do not include user-defined columns. Role-based access rights are applied to Dashboards. Therefore, columns with numeric values display zeros instead of the actual value if you do not have access right to view the column data.

Cost and billing related columns display values in either the billing or project currency, depending on the configuration of Use Billing (Not Project) Currency for Reporting in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options.

Plan related columns include planned unit values if the Resource Planning module and either the Accounting or PSA module are activated and if the project is in a company that plans units.

Field Description
Actual Completion For completed projects, this column displays the actual completion date.
Add On Billed This column displays the amount billed for add-ons. Add-ons are markups applied to labor, expenses, consultants, reimbursables, fees, units, or to add-ons themselves. You establish add-ons for a project in Billing Terms.
Adjusted Unbilled This column displays the Adjusted Unbilled amount that includes the Unbilled Gain/Loss entries. The calculation for this column is Revenue - Billed + Unbilled Gain/Loss = Adjusted Unbilled. When this column is displayed in functional currency, it will match the Unbilled Services account in the general ledger, and will also match the Unbilled Services line in the File Reconciliation Report.
Ajera Billed - Consultant This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of consultant costs billed for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Billed - Labor This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of labor billed for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Billed - Reimbursable This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of reimbursable labor billed for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Billed - Total This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the total billed amount to the project based on the sum of the consultant, labor and reimbursable labor amounts billed from Ajera.

Ajera Cost - Consultant This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the cost amount of the consultants for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Cost - Labor This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the cost amount of the labor for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Cost - Reimbursable This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the reimbursable cost of the labor for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Cost - Total This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the total cost amount based on the sum of the consultant, labor and reimbursable labor costs for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Project Template This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the Ajera Project Template assigned to the project.

Ajera Received - Consultant This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the invoiced consultant amount received for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Received - Labor This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the invoiced labor amount received for the project from Ajera.

Ajera Received - Reimbursable This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of labor completed and received by the employee from Ajera.

Ajera Received - Total This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the sum of reimbursable labor received by the consultant, amount of reimbursable labor received by the employee, and amount of labor completed and received by the employee from Ajera.

Ajera Spent - Consultant This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of consultant work performed for the project at the billing rates from Ajera.

Ajera Spent - Labor This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of labor performed for the project at the billing rates from Ajera.

Ajera Spent - Reimbursable This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of reimbursable for the project at the billing rates from Ajera.

Ajera Spent - Total This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the sum amount of consultant work, reimbursable, and labor performed for the project at the billing rates from Ajera.

Ajera Sync This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays a marked checkbox if the project is synchronized with Ajera or an unmarked checkbox if the project is not synchronized with Ajera. This is based on the Sync to Ajera checkbox in the Overview tab of Project hub.

Ajera WIP - Consultant This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of work-in-progress consultant for the project from Ajera.

Ajera WIP - Labor This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of work-in-progress labor for the project from Ajera.

Ajera WIP - Reimbursable This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the amount of reimbursable work-in-progress for the project from Ajera.

Ajera WIP - Total This column is available if Ajera synchronization is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Ajera.

This column displays the sum amount of work-in-progress for consultant, labor, and reimbursable for the project from Ajera.

Amount Billing This column displays the amount billed for the job to date.
Amount Cost This column displays the amount spent for the job to date, calculated at cost rates and the overhead amount costs. This amount includes both labor and expenses.
AR Amount This column displays the amount that is billed but not yet received in payment. This amount includes taxes billed.
AR Last Invoice Amount This column displays the amount of the latest or most recently posted invoice in the AR Ledger report.
AR Last Invoice Date This column displays the date of the latest or most recently posted invoice in the AR Ledger report.
AR Last Invoice Number This column displays the invoice number of the latest or most recently posted invoice in the AR Ledger report.
AR Last Receipt Amount This column displays the amount of the latest or most recently posted receipt in the AR Ledger report.
AR Last Receipt Date This column displays the date of the latest or most recently posted receipt in the AR Ledger report.
AR Retainage This column displays the retainage that is not currently due for payment in the AR Aged report.
AR Retainer This column displays the retainer balance in the AR Ledger report.
Average Collection Period This column displays the average number of days it takes for your company to receive payments owed by your clients for a project.
Award Type This column displays the type of award for the project (for example, IDIQ - GWAC, IDIQ - Agency Specific, BPA).
Backlog This column displays the unearned monetary amount for work that is under contract, calculated as follows:

Total Compensation - Job-to-date Revenue Amount

Backlog is used as an indicator of a firm's business volume, which is usually expressed as the number of months of backlog.

Bid Date This column displays the date on which your firm first bid on the project.
Bill by Default

This column displays Yes, No, or Category to indicate whether or not to bill the client for certain expense charges:

  • Yes: Always bill expense charges to the client, whether or not the Bill by Default option is selected for the associated category in Expense Settings.
  • No: Never bill expense charges to the client, whether or not the Bill by Default option is selected for the associated category in Expense Settings.
  • Category: Only bill charges to the client if the Bill by Default option is selected for the associated category in Expense Settings.
Billable Message

This column displays one of the following values to indicate whether or not an error message displays when a user charges certain expenses to the project in an expense report:

  • No Message: No message displays when the Bill by Default option for the expense category is different from the Bill by Default option for the project.
  • Warning: A warning message displays when the Bill by Default option for the expense category is different from the Bill by Default option for the project. You must explicitly choose to continue with the transaction if you want to charge the expense to the project with the selected expense category.
  • Error: An error message displays when the Bill by Default option for the expense category is different from the Bill by Default option for the project. You cannot charge the expense to the project with the selected category.
Billed This column displays the amount spent for the job to date, calculated at billing rates. This amount includes both labor and expenses.
Billed Amount This column displays the total amount billed. The amount in this column does not includes taxes, but the AR Amount and Received Amount columns do.
Biller This column displays the name of the employee who is responsible for creating the billing invoices for a project, as specified on the Overview tab of the Projects hub.

This field is not available on a promotional project when it is linked to a regular project.

Billing Address This column displays the client's billing street address, city, state, and ZIP code. If the address is too long for the width of the column, it continues on additional lines within the column.
Billing Client ID This column displays the identifier for the client to be billed.
Billing Client Name This column displays the name of the client to be billed.
Billing Consultant Rate Method This column displays the consultant rate method based on billing terms.
Billing Consultant Rate Table This column displays the name of the consultant rate table based on billing terms.
Billing Contact This column displays the billing contact for the client.
Billing Contact Email This column displays the email address for the billing contact for the client.
Billing Contact Fax This column displays the fax number for the billing contact for the client.
Billing Contact ID This column displays the billing contact identification code for the client.
Billing Contact Phone This column displays the phone number for the billing contact for the client.
Billing Currency Code This column displays the three-character code for the billing currency.
Billing Currency Count This column displays the count for the billing currency used in the dashpart.
Billing Current Fee This column displays the calculated current fee based on billing terms.
Billing Expense Rate Method This column displays the expense rate method based on billing terms.
Billing Expense Rate Table This column displays the name of the expense rate table based on the billing terms.
Billing Fee Amount This column displays the total fee amount based on billing terms.
Billing Fee Method This column displays the selected fee method based on billing terms.
Billing Labor Rate Method This column displays the labor rate method based on billing terms.
Billing Labor Rate Table This column displays the name of the labor rate table based on billing terms.
Billing Rates for Reporting (Consultant) The checkbox in this column indicates whether billing rates for reporting (not invoicing) are used for consultants, based on billing terms.
Billing Rates for Reporting (Expense) The checkbox in this column indicates whether rates for reporting (not invoicing) are used for expenses, based on billing terms.
Billing Rates for Reporting (Labor) The checkbox in this column indicates whether rates for reporting (not invoicing) are used for labor, based on the billing terms.
Billing Rates for Reporting (Units) The checkbox in this column indicates whether billing rates for reporting (not invoicing) are used, based on billing terms.
Billing Unit Method This column displays the selected unit method based on billing terms.
Budget Level If your firm uses Resource Management, this column indicates the level of the project work breakdown structure or plan work breakdown structure at which budgeting is done.
Budgeted Amount Bill This column displays the budgeted amount, calculated at billing rates. This amount includes both labor and expense.
Budgeted Amount Cost This column displays the budgeted amount, calculated at cost rates. This amount includes both labor and expense.
Budgeted Dir. Consultant Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for direct consultant expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Dir. Consultant Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for direct consultant expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Direct Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for direct expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Direct Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for direct expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Expense Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Expense Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Hours This column displays the number of hours budgeted for the project.
Budgeted Indirect Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for indirect expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Indirect Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for indirect expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Labor Billing This column displays the budgeted amount for labor, calculated at billing rates. This amount includes regular hours, overtime hours, and secondary overtime hours.
Budgeted Labor Amount Cost This column displays the budgeted amount for labor, calculated at cost rates. This amount includes regular hours, overtime hours, and secondary overtime hours.
Budgeted OH Rate This column displays the budgeted overhead rate. If you use the assignment method for overhead allocation, Vantagepoint uses the budgeted overhead rate for both budgeting and allocation purposes. For all other overhead allocation methods, Vantagepoint uses the budgeted overhead rate only to calculate the overhead amount for the project's budget.
Budgeted Other Exp. Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for other expenses (expenses charged to accounts with the Other Charges account type), calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Other Exp. Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for other expenses (expenses charged to accounts with the Other Charges account type), calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Overhead Amount Cost This column displays the budgeted overhead amount, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Reimb. Consultant Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for reimbursable consultant expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Reimb. Consultant Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for reimbursable consultant expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Reimbursable Billing This column displays the total budgeted amount for reimbursable expenses, calculated at billing rates.
Budgeted Reimbursable Amount Cost This column displays the total budgeted amount for reimbursable expenses, calculated at cost rates.
Budgeted Source If your firm uses Resource Management, this column displays the source of the budget data included on the report: plan or project record. This column is not used in the logic for other the columns in the project dashpart base.
Budgeted Validation This column displays the type of budget or plan validation to apply to timesheet hours entered for the WBS branch: None, Warning, or Error. This option is set on the Accounting Tab of the Projects Form.
Business Development Lead Name This column displays the name of the employee that is designated as the business development lead.
Business Development Lead Number This column displays the phone number of the business development lead.
Charge Type

This column displays one of the following charge types for the project:

  • R: Regular projects are revenue-producing. Costs charged to regular projects include direct labor, direct expense, and reimbursable expense. Vantagepoint retains the detail for a regular project for the life of the project.
  • H: Overhead projects are not revenue-producing. Costs charged to overhead projects include indirect labor and indirect expense. Vantagepoint distributes the total cost of these projects to regular projects during overhead allocation. Typical overhead projects can include General Overhead, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holiday, and Civic Duty. Vantagepoint resets job-to-date costs to zero for overhead projects when you initialize for a new fiscal year.
  • P: Promotional projects track the cost to acquire a job. If you obtain the contract, you can create a new regular project and transfer the detail to it to be billed or tracked. A promotional project is similar to an overhead project. However, Vantagepoint does not zero out job-to-date costs at the start of each fiscal year for promotional projects.
Client Address

For clients that use more than one address, this column displays an address description to indicate which address is associated with the project. For example, this column might display one of the following:

  • <Default>: The default address from the Firms hub
  • Corporate HQ: The address of the client's headquarters
  • London: The address for the client's office in London, UK
Client Billing Address

For clients that use more than one address, this column displays an address description to indicate which address is the billing address for the project. For example, this column might display one of the following:

  • <Default>: This is the default address from the Firms hub.
  • Corporate HQ: This is the address of the client's headquarters.
  • London: This is the address for the client's office in London, UK.
Client ID This column displays the identifier for the client associated with the project.
Client Name This column displays the client associated with the project.
Committed Purchase Order Expense Bill The Purchasing module needs to be enabled to access this column.

This column displays the amount of expenses committed to approved purchase orders, calculated at billing rates. The presentation currency for these columns can be the billing or project currency as configured in the Use Billing (Not Project) Currency for Reporting option in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options. The presentation currency can be changed in Dashpart Designer.

Committed Purchase Order Expense Cost The Purchasing module needs to be enabled to access this column.

This column displays the amount of expenses committed to approved purchase orders, calculated at cost rates. The presentation currency for these columns can be the billing or project currency as configured in the Use Billing (Not Project) Currency for Reporting option in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options. The presentation currency can be changed in Dashpart Designer.

Compensation This column displays the total monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor and direct expenses related to the project.
Competition Type

This column displays the competition type for the project (for example, GSA Schedules or Woman Owned Set-Aside).

Completion Comment This column displays the comments entered for the completion date.
Concatenated Client Address This column displays the firm's street address, city, state, and ZIP code. If the address is too long for the width of the column, it continues on additional lines within the column.
Confidential Project Alias This column displays the alternate name that Vantagepoint uses in proposals in place of the actual client name when the client requests that you keep the firm's name confidential.
Construction Completion Date This column displays the date on which your firm completed all work.
Consultant Billed This column displays the amount billed for reimbursable consultant expense.
Consultant Revenue Amount This column displays the revenue amount for the consultant revenue category.
Consultant Revenue Type This column displays the revenue type for the consultant revenue category.
Consultant Unbilled This column displays the unbilled revenue amount for the consultant revenue category.
Contact This column displays the identifier of the contact.
Contact EMail This column displays the contact's email address.
Contact Fax This column displays the fax number for the contact.
Contact Name This column displays the name of the contact.
Contact Phone This column displays the phone number for the contact.
Contract Amount This field displays the total contract amount, at billing or at cost: Labor + Expenses + Consultants.
Contract Awarded This column displays a selected checkbox if the contract was already awarded or a cleared checkbox if the contract is not yet awarded. The checkbox is not editable.
Contract Backlog This column displays the total of Contract Total Compensation - JTD Revenue.
Contract Compensation This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor and direct expenses related to the contract.
Contract Date This column displays the date on which your firm was awarded the contract.
Contract Direct Consultant This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct consultant fees related to the contract.
Contract Direct Expense This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct expenses related to the contract.
Contract Direct Labor This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor related to the contract.
Contract Reimbursable Allowance This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable expenses and reimbursable consultant fees related to the contract.
Contract Reimbursable Consultant This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable consultant fees related to the contract. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.
Contract Reimbursable Expense This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable expenses related to the contract.
Contract Total Compensation This column displays the sum of Contract Compensation, Contract Direct Consultant, and Contract Reimbursable Allowance amounts.
Contract Type This column displays the contract type for the related contracts.
Cost Rate Method If you use Payroll and you set the Enable Cost Rate Tables option to Yes in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options, this column displays one of the following cost rate methods:
  • From Employee Cost Rate
  • From Labor Rate Table
  • From Category Rate Table
  • From Labor Code Table
  • None
Cost Rate Table If you use Payroll and you set the Enable Cost Rate Tables option to Yes in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options, this column displays one of the following cost rate tables:
  • Labor Rate Table
  • Category Rate Table
  • Labor Code Table

This column is blank if Cost Rate Method contains From Employee Cost Rate.

Create Date This column displays the date on which the project plan was created.
Create User This column displays the Vantagepoint employee name linked to the user ID of the employee who created the plan.
Cross Charge - Apply Rate Method This column displays the cross charge method for the project from the Apply Rate Method at this Level field on the Accounting tab of the Projects form:
  • Global: Vantagepoint uses the cross charge method specified on the Cross Charge tab of the Individual Organization Setup form.
  • Project: Vantagepoint uses the cross charge method specified in the Rate Method field on the Accounting tab of the Projects form.
  • None: Vantagepoint does not generate cross charges for the project.
Cross Charge Method

This column displays the labor cross charge transfer price calculation method for this project, phase, or task:

  • Billing Terms: This means that the cross charge method for the project, phase, or task is based on its billing terms setting.
  • Multiplier: This means that the cross charge method is a multiplier.
Cross Charge Rate This column displays the markup rate that Vantagepoint uses when it transfers revenue back to an employee's organization or when it transfers an employee's overhead charges to the organization associated with the project.
Customer Confidential This column displays Yes or No to indicate whether or not the customer firm's name is confidential and is to be excluded from all proposals. If the customer's name is confidential and you include the project in a proposal, Vantagepoint substitutes an alias for the customer name.
Days Open This column displays the number of days the project has been open. For a won, lost, or no longer pursued project, this column displays the number of days from the date it was opened to its won/lost date.
Dir. Consultant Amount Billing This column displays the amount of direct consultant expenses for the current period, calculated at billing rates.

Click the value to display the Direct Consultants At Billing dialog box, where you can view the breakdown of direct consultant expenses at billing value. If a presentation currency is used for the dashpart, the values are not displayed as links and the Direct Consultants At Billing dialog box is not accessible.

Dir. Consultant Amount Cost This column displays the amount of direct consultant expenses for the current period, calculated at cost rates.

Click the value to display the Direct Consultants At Cost dialog box, where you can view the breakdown of direct consultant expenses at cost value. If a presentation currency is used for the dashpart, the values are not displayed as links and the Direct Consultants At Cost dialog box is not accessible.

Direct Expense Amount Billing This column displays the amount of direct expenses for the job to date, calculated at billing rates.
Direct Expense Amount Cost This column displays the amount of direct expenses for the job to date, calculated at cost rates.
Direct Other Expenses Billing This column displays the amount spent, at billing rates, for direct expenses other than direct consultant expenses.

Click the value to display the Direct Other Expenses At Billing dialog box, where you can view the breakdown of direct other expenses at billing value. If a presentation currency is used for the dashpart, the values are not displayed as links and the Direct Other Expenses At Billing dialog box is not accessible.

Direct Other Expenses Cost This column displays the amount spent, at cost rates, for direct expenses other than direct consultant expenses.

Draft Invoice Approval Comment This column displays the latest comment made in the draft invoice approval record.
Draft Invoice Approver This column displays the name of the person responsible for approving the draft invoice.
Draft Invoice Status This column displays the status of the record.
Draft Invoice Total This column displays the total amount of the draft invoice.
Draft Invoice Update Date This column displays the date on which the draft invoice was updated.
Draft Invoice Update By This column displays the employee that made the update to the draft invoice.
Duration This column displays the total expected duration of the contract (for example, 1 year base plus 4 x 1 year option).
EAC Budgeted Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent at the completion of the project. It includes both labor and expenses.
EAC Budgeted Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion amount, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent at the completion of the project. It includes both labor and expenses.
EAC Budgeted Dir. Consultant Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount for direct consultant expenses, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for direct consultant expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Dir. Consultant Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion amount for direct consultant expenses, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for direct consultant expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Direct Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount for direct expenses, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for direct expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Direct Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion amount for direct expenses, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for direct expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Expense Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount for expenses, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Expense Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion amount for expenses, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Hours This column displays the estimate at completion (EAC) hours for the labor code for the project, phase, or task. This is the estimate of the total number of hours that will have been charged to the labor code at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Indirect Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount for indirect expenses, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for indirect expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Indirect Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion amount for indirect expenses, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for indirect expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Labor Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion labor amount, calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for labor at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Labor Amount Cost This column displays the estimate at completion labor amount, calculated at cost rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for labor at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Other Exp. Amount Billing This column displays the estimate at completion amount for other expenses (expenses charged to accounts with the Other Charges account type), calculated at billing rates. This amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been spent for other expenses at the completion of the project.
EAC Budgeted Other Exp. Responsibility This column displays the level of responsibility that your enterprise has for the project, such as Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant.
Rev. Multiplier/Amount This column displays the multiplier, percentage, or amount for the revenue method.
Rev. Multiplier/Amount (Sum) This column displays the multiplier, percentage, or amount for the revenue method. The difference between this column and the Rev. Multiplier/Amount column is that Vantagepoint treats this column as an amount column and displays group totals for it. This can be useful if you use calculated fields and want the revenue multiplier to be treated as an amount rather than as a multiplier.
Revenue This column displays the amount of revenue for the project.
Revenue Category <X> Amount These columns display the revenue amount for a revenue category.

Vantagepoint calculates the revenue as follows:

Billed revenue for the revenue category + Unbilled revenue for the revenue category

This column is only available when Yes is selected in the Enable Revenue Categories field that is found in the Revenue form (Settings > Accounting > Revenue).

Revenue Description This column displays the description of the revenue source (for example, JTD Billings, JTD Billings + WIP @, or (Pct Comp*Fee) + JTD Reimb Exp).
Revenue Type

This column displays the revenue type. The revenue type is a code to identify how Vantagepoint calculates revenue for the task, phase, or project. There are six standard revenue types:

  • B: Job-to-date billing
  • M: (Job-to-date direct labor * Multiplier) + Job-to-date reimbursable expenses @ cost rates
  • N: No revenue generation
  • P: Percent complete + Job-to-date reimbursable expenses @ cost rates
  • R: Job-to-date receipts
  • W: Job-to-date billing + Work-in-progress @ billing rates
Secondary Ovt. Hours This column displays the number of secondary overtime hours. Secondary overtime is overtime that is paid at a different rate than standard overtime. If you pay separately for secondary overtime, you must record those hours separately on the timesheet. This column is available only if you set Enable Secondary Overtime to Yes in Settings > Accounting > Labor Options.
Secondary Ovt. Labor Amount Cost This column displays the amount spent on secondary overtime labor hours for the job to date, calculated at cost rates. Secondary overtime is overtime that is paid at a different rate than standard overtime. If you pay separately for secondary overtime, you must record those hours separately on the timesheet. You set secondary overtime on the Accounting tab of the Employees form.
SF Record This column displays the SF record identifier and this column is available if Salesforce integration is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Salesforce.
Solicitation # This column displays the RFP number for the project as transferred from GovWin IQ.
Source This column displays the source of the project (for example, Client Referral, Consultant Job, or Marketing Campaign).
Source Code This column displays the source code of the project (for example, Client Referral, Consultant Job, or Marketing Campaign).
Stage This field indicates the current stage for the project.
Stage Step This column displays an indication of where the pursuit is in the Stage process if you are using CRM. Steps are a sub-category of a Stage.
Start Date This column displays the start date for the data that is included on the report. It is based on either today's date or a specific date that you assign.
Status This column displays the current status of the project: Active, Inactive, or Dormant.
Supervisor Name This column displays the name of the supervisor for the project.
Supervisor Number This column displays the ID number of the supervisor for the project, phase, or task.
Taxes Billed This column displays the amount billed for taxes.
Timesheet Line Item Approval This Yes/No column indicates whether or not timesheet line item approval is set up for the project. The timesheet line item approval feature gives your principals, project managers, and supervisors the ability to review and then approve or reject individual labor charges for their projects.
Total Compensation

This column displays the total compensation for the task, phase, or project, calculated as follows:

Compensation + Fee Direct Consultant + Reimbursable Allowance

Total Other Expenses Billing This column displays the total spent, at billing rates, for all direct expenses and reimbursable expenses, other than consultant expenses.
Total Other Expenses Cost This column displays the total spent, at cost rates, for all direct expenses and reimbursable expenses, other than consultant expenses.
Total Project Cost This column displays the total cost of the project.
Total Project Cost Comment This column displays the comments entered for the total project cost (for example, "Fee only" or "Phase I").
Unbilled (Revenue Category <X>) This column displays the revenue amount, based on a revenue category, for the job to date. This amount has not yet been billed.

This column is only available when the Enable Revenue Categories field is set to Yes Yes on the Revenue form (Settings > Accounting > Revenue).

Unbilled Amount

This column displays the amount of revenue that has not yet billed, calculated as follows:

Unbilled Consultant Billable @ Billing This column displays the total billable amount for consultants, calculated at billing rates, that has not yet been billed.
Unbilled Consultant Billable @ Cost This column displays the total billable consultant amount, calculated at cost rates, that has not yet been billed.
Unbilled Consultant Held @ Billing This column displays the total held amounts for consultants calculated at billing rates.
Unbilled Consultant Held @ Cost This column displays the unbilled total number of held consultant amount calculated at cost rates.
Unbilled Consultant Total @ Billing This column displays the total billable, held, and written off amounts for consultants calculated at billing rates.

Unbilled Labor Billable @ Cost This column displays the unbilled total number of billable labor calculated at cost rates.
Unbilled Labor Held @ Billing This column displays the total amount of held labor calculated at billing rates.

This column displays the variance as a percentage, calculated as follows:

By comparing the variance percentage for the current period to the year-to-date and job-to-date variance percentages, you can see the effect of the recent performance on the overall profitability.

WBS Level Name This column displays the WBS1, WBS2, or WBS3 short name. If the project is associated with phases and tasks, the WBS levels are grouped and can be expanded or collapsed. Because the WBS Level Name column groups WBS levels, no other grouping options are available or enabled when you include the WBS Level Name column in a dashpart.
WBS Level Number This column displays the WBS1, WBS2 or WBS3 number code. If the project is associated with phases and tasks, the WBS levels are grouped and can be expanded or collapsed. Weighted Fee This column displays the estimated fee for the project and is weighted based on the probability: Estimated fee x Probability percentage.
Weighted Percent Complete Bill This column displays the overall percent complete based on billing amounts. Vantagepoint calculates the weighted percent complete value based on two sources:
  • The Overall % Complete, Expense % Complete, and Labor % Complete fields in Hubs > Projects > Contract Management.
  • The project's Budget at Billing in Hubs > Projects > Budget.

When the percentage is entered at the lowest WBS level, this column calculates a weighted percent complete at the higher WBS levels of the project.

Won/Lost Date If the project is in a pipeline stage that is designated as a Won, Lost, or Do Not Pursue stage, this column displays the date on which the project was won or lost or on which you decided not to pursue it further.

If the project is assigned to a stage that is designated as an In Pursuit stage, it does not have a won/lost date.

Won/Loss Notes This column displays notes that relate to winning, losing, or abandoning pursuit of the project.
Won/Lost Reason This column displays the reason why the project was won or lost or why you decided not to pursue it.
Won/Lost Reason Code This column displays the code for the reason why project was won or lost or why you decided not to pursue it.
