Use Custom Images on Purchasing Templates

You can place images in the header or the footer of a purchasing template.

Prerequisite: To use a custom image in any purchasing template, you must first upload the custom image into the Purchase Template Editor. For more information, see Upload Custom Images in Purchase Template Editor.

To use custom images on purchasing templates:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Settings > Purchasing & Inventory > Purchase Template Editor.
  2. On the Purchase Template Editor form, open the custom purchasing template to which you want to add an image.
  3. Click the Images tab.
  4. In the Images grid, click+ Add Image.
  5. In the Filename field, select an image.
  6. In the other fields of the row, specify the margins, width, and height for the image.
If you leave the Width or Height fields blank, Vantagepoint interprets the width or height to be 0 (zero) and the image does not display.
  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for each image that you want to use with the current purchasing template.

Adding an image on the Images tab does not automatically make it display on the purchasing forms. You must select the image, as instructed in the next step, for the image to display.

  8. Click the Select column next to the images that you want to add to the selected purchasing template.
  9. To place an image in the header of the first page only, set the Location option to Page 1 Header.
  10. To place the same image in the header of every page, create two lines in the Images grid.
    • Set the Location option in the first row to Page 1 Header.
    • Set the Location option in the second row to Page 2 Header.
  11. Click Save.
