Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Display the Grouping Options Dialog Box

Access the dialog box from the Dashpart Designer form when you create or modify a chart dashpart. To group a table dashpart, use the option in the column properties area.

These steps are not applicable when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the toolbar of the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you are using a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. Access the Grouping Options dialog box while creating or editing a dashpart.

    While creating a dashpart
    1. On the edit mode toolbar, click + New Dashpart.
    2. On the Add New Dashpart dialog box, enter a dashpart title, set Dashpart Base to a setting other than Favorite Report, set Dashpart Type to Table or Chart, and click Continue.
    3. On the Select Dashpart Columns dialog box, select the columns to include in the dashpart and click Continue.
    4. On the Dashpart Designer form, click Grouping Options.
    While editing a dashpart
    1. On the open dashboard with the chart dashpart you want to edit, click on the dashpart header and select Edit.

      Alternatively, click Dashpart Library on the edit mode toolbar, hover over a chart dashpart in the Dashpart Library pane, and click .

    2. On the Dashpart Designer form, click Grouping Options.
