You can select the following tables associated with a schedule using Scheduled alerts:
Schedule project — The header record for a project that contains the project level codes (table name OPP_PRJ)
Activity — The activity table where the activity ID, duration and other user entered fields are stored. This table also contains all of the unrotated user fields and codes after they have been added to User-Defined Data (Table name OPP_ACT)
Activity Calculated Results — This table has one record for each activity (sometimes called a sister table) and contains the calculated results from time analysis, resource scheduling, and cost calculations. These results are used in the notifications to determine the list of activities that were planned to start in the near future.
Scheduled alerts also contains alert notifications about Progress entries being ready to be submitted or approved and reminders for past due progressing tasks.
The Assignee and Approver values assigned in the Assigned to field for the Progress entry type workflow steps in Workflow Type Configuration are not be shown in Field Selection dialog when populating the Assign to field in the Create Workflow Configuration dialog box.
The system is provided with two default alerts related to the assignment records for the Progress entry type. They are assigned to the Assignment area and are set up to provide notifications when a Progress entry is assigned and is past due. The user will need to set up a schedule for them.
Two new links are added to accommodate the Progress entry type although they are available for any workflow type. These links are in the Insert Links list on the Email Configuration dialog. One is Progress Link and the other is Approval Link. When added to an email body, they will provide active links to the individual progress assignments to be submitted and progress assignment to be approved
