Use this dialog box for one of the following purposes:
To select the schedule project that you want to associate with the PM Compass project.
To select the project that you want to use as a baseline for the associated project.
To select the baseline that you want to use as the baseline for the associated project.
If you are searching for a Microsoft Project Server project, this dialog box displays all published Project Server projects that are available in the Project Server database.
This field is read-only and displays Standard.
After changing the information on the dialog box, click this button to populate the grid with results. The records that PM Compass displays in the grid depend on the search filters that you define. The columns in the grid vary, depending on the display type that you select.
From the drop-down list of this field, select one of the options. All options are listed below; however, the available options vary depending on what you are searching for (for example, a project to associate versus a baseline).
Schedule Project: Select this option to filter the search results by schedule projects.
Name: Select this option to filter the search results by project name.
Description: Select this option to filter the search results by project description.
After selecting the field, click the Search button to populate the list box with results.
This text box allows you to enter a value stored in the selected Search By field. After entering the search text, click the Search button to populate the list box with results.
This grid displays the search results after you define your filter criteria and click Search.
This field displays the total number of records that are available in the result set of the search.
Select a record from the grid and click this button to display the corresponding record. The search dialog box displays the first record that best matches the criteria, following the numerical-alphabetical order for all records. If the search allows it, you can select multiple records by pressing either the CTRL key or the SHIFT key and clicking the selected entries.
For field searches, selecting a record and clicking Select closes the search dialog box and displays the selected record in the field.
For filter searches that present records for a screen (for example, a workflow search), selecting a record and clicking Select closes the search dialog box and populates the application form with the values of the selected record.
For dashparts (but not the global filter for dashboards) and reports, this button label is Apply.
Click this button to select and display all available records in numerical-alphabetical order.
Click this button to exit the dialog box.
Click this button to display the corresponding help topic of the search dialog box.
