When you make a change to a schedule as part of a change request (for example, changes to steps, deleting an activity, and changing progress on an activity), PM Compass applies the change to the live schedule when you complete the workflow.
If you edit or delete an activity that is not linked to a work package in a modeling session, PM Compass applies those changes to the live schedule during the complete step.
If there is a change action to delete an activity or step and the activity or step is already deleted from the live project, PM Compass displays a message "No longer in live project" and continues processing.
When you delete an activity, PM Compass removes it from the PMB baseline.
When you add an activity to a change request, then add that activity to the live project and complete the workflow, the activity will not have a change number in the live project.
When you make a change to an activity as part of a cost action in a change request, the change is applied in the live schedule when the workflow is completed.
Delete Work Package deletes the activity in the schedule and in the baseline.
Move Work Package changes the code assignments for the linking fields in the schedule and in the baseline.
Replan changes the code assignments on the completed activity and updated the baseline. If the replan option Create a New Work Package for the Replanned Budget/Earned/Actuals is selected, the linking fields are updated to match the new closed work package.
