Print Using Previous Printing Technology

Use this procedure to print using previous printing technology.

To print using previous printing technology:

1. Any place in PM Compass where you can select an option that opens a PM Compass print dialog box, press the CTRL key on your keyboard, and click the Print option at the same time.

2. Examples of print options that open a PM Compass print dialog box are:

   • A print icon on the PM Compass Workflow toolbar

   • A print icon on the PM Compass Reporting toolbar

3. Click the Print Using Previous Version's Method (May be Slower) check box.

   The Print Using Previous Version's Method (May be Slower) check box displays but remains disabled if the Printer Name drop-down field has <local printer> assigned. The Print Using Previous Version's Method (May be Slower) check box becomes enabled when an actual printer is selected.

4. You must enter a network printer in the Printer Name field on the print dialog box to be able to select the Print Using Previous Version's Method (May be Slower) check box.

5. Click the Print or OK button on the print dialog box.
