It is important that the Open Plan calendar exactly matches the calendar in Cobra. Deltek recommends you use Cobra's Tools » Export Calendar to OP feature to build your Open Plan Calendar.
To export a fiscal calendar from Cobra:
In Cobra, click Tools » Export Calendars to OP.
On the first page of the wizard, select the following:
Calendar — The name of the fiscal calendar file to be exported. If you are using rolling wave (weekly earned value) in Cobra, you will need to export the weekly calendar to Open Plan. When you look at the Open Plan time phased data, all budget appears in the last week. When the data comes over to Cobra, it will appear in the correct period.
Calendar Set — The name of the calendar set file to be exported
Reporting Calendar — The name of Open Plan calendar to be created
Click Finish to complete the export.
To set the reporting calendar in Open Plan:
Open your project in Open Plan.
On the Processes tab, in the Dialogs group, click Properties to display the Project Properties dialog box.
Select the Cost tab.
In the Reporting Calendar field, select the reporting calendar you just exported from Cobra.
Click OK.
