The Workflow Type Configuration option to Update the Forecast Baseline is being ignored because this project does not have a forecast baseline selected the Project Details view on the Schedule Integration tab. In order to update the forecast baseline, select a Forecast Baseline for this project.
When you approve a change management record, and the change class is a budget class, PM Compass checks for negative undistributed budget, negative management reserve, and negative BAC for the work package. If any of the checks fail, you get a warning message if you are approving in Form view or an email if you are approving in List view.
The Control Account has unapproved Change Management workflows — This message displays when there is an existing change request with the same control account.
The change amount exceeds the available undistributed budget
The change amount exceeds the available Management Reserve (MR).
The change amount <change amount number> exceeds the BAC for Work Package <Control Account ID/Work Package ID/Activity ID>.
