Use the Archive Report dialog box to save reports temporarily so that you can quickly regenerate them with the original data. Archived reports are displayed on the Archived Reports tab in the <Report Category> Reporting Form.

To create an archived report, complete the following steps:
On the Navigation menu, click Reports ยป Cost Analysis/Workflow/Progress/Schedule. The Reporting form displays. By default, the Reports tab of the Reporting form displays.
In the Reports grid, select the report you wish to archive.
If you have not yet set report options, click in the Options column to display the Report Options dialog box where you can customize your report options.
Save the report with a new name and provide access control to the new saved report. If you don't save the report with a new name, you will be the only person who can see it, regardless of whether you assign WORLD access or specific user access. For more information about sharing archived reports see Sharing Report Archives.
On the Reporting toolbar, click Create Report Archive. The Archive Report dialog box displays.
In the Archive Report Output (Hours) field, enter the number of hours you want PM Compass to save the report. Use only numeric values between 1 and 99999. The Delete Expired Archive Reports scheduled process runs nightly and deletes any old archive reports. For more information about this process, see Default Processes in the System Queue.
Click the Prompt to Preview Report When Archive Has Completed option if you want to preview the report after PM Compass generates it.
Click Archive.
The archived report is now available on the Archived Reports tab.
