Workspace Layout

This section describes the workspace layout across country statutory reports (data exports only).

Overview

Note: This section pertains only to country reports that are data exports, and not Web Intelligence (Webi) reports. In the Maconomy menu (Reporting » Country Reports), said country reports have "(Data Exports)" in the name, for example, Annual CSV File (Data Export).

However, this guide excludes the UK Tax Submissions (Data Exports), which has a different layout and instructions for generating a report.

Country reports share the same workspace layout with the following sections and tabs:

The tables below provide descriptions for the fields and actions within the workspace.

Card Part

The card part displays across all tabs within the workspace.

Card Part Actions

Action Description

Click this action to refresh data in the current workspace.

Generate Report

Click this action to open the selection criteria dialog box.

Statutory Retrieval Tab

The Statutory Retrieval tab displays a list of generated reports available for download. It also provides details related to each generated report.

Tab Fields

Field Description
Download File

This column contains the Download File action.

- Click this action to download the generated report.
File Name

This column displays the file name of the generated report.

Size

This column displays the file size of the generated report.

Date Created

This column displays the date when the report was generated.

Time Created

This column displays the time when the report was generated.

This column contains the Delete action.

- Click this action to delete the generated report from the list.

Tab Actions

Action

Description

Click this action to export the rows from the current table to a spreadsheet.

Maconomy exports the table, and immediately downloads the resulting spreadsheet to your local drive.

Click this action to display the filter row on the current table. You can then enter criteria in any of the filter row fields to display only select table rows.

Click this action to maximize the table view.

Click this action to restore the default display size of the table.

Click this action to open the Customize Columns window.

Background Task Tab

Once you generate the report (by clicking the Generate Report action), you can view the associated background task. This tab provides details related to each background task instance.

Tab Fields

Field Description
Task Description

This column displays the name of the report.

Execution Status
This column displays the status of the report, which includes the following:
  • Pending
  • Running
  • Committed
  • Incomplete
  • Succeeded
  • Failed
  • Rescheduled
Company No.

This column displays the company number used for the report.

Period (or Fiscal Year)

This column displays the time period used for the report.

Filename

This column displays the file name of the generated report.

Due

This column displays the expected time when the report can be generated.

Created

This column displays the date and time when the background task was created.

Started

This column displays the date and time when the background task started to generate the report.

Ended

This column displays the date and time when the background task for generating the report ended.

Duration

This column displays how long it has taken to generate the report .

Description

Abort

Click this action to stop the process.

Click this action to export the rows from the current table to a spreadsheet.

Data Table

This table provides details related to each background task instance.

Table Fields

Field Description
Line Type

This column identifies what type of line displays in the report, such as User Input (for string) or Parameter (for Boolean).

The Line Type is "User Input" by default.

Field/Parameter Name

This displays the field or parameter that corresponds to the line that displays in the report. .

Type

This column identifies what type of value displays in the report, such as string, Boolean, enumeration or integer.

Value

This column displays the value for the field/parameter.

Result Log Table

This table provides details related to each background task instance.

Table Fields

Field Description
Message

This column displays the messages generated while the background task was running.

Type

This column displays the type of message generated, such as Information, Warning or Result.

Rec. Key Descr.

This column displays the container associated with the message.

Table Actions

Action

Description

Click this action to move the current line above the previous line in the table.

Click this action to move the current line below the next line in the table.

Click this action to open the Display Options dialog box.

Use the slider to drag the line height according to your preference, then click Apply to refresh the screen. Click Cancel to close the dialog box without applying the change.

Click this action to export the rows from the current table to a spreadsheet.

Maconomy exports the table, and immediately downloads the resulting spreadsheet to your local drive.

Click this action to display the filter row on the current table. You can then enter criteria in any of the filter row fields to display only select table rows.

Click this action to maximize the table view.

Click this action to restore the default display size of the table.
