Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Costpoint System Name

Before your cloud solution is deployed, you must provide the system name that you wish to use for Costpoint.

The system name is requested by Deltek during the sales process. Your Deltek sales representative should ask you for this information.

There is no longer a separate domain name for Time & Expense.

After you provide the system name, Deltek uses the following pattern to establish the system for your company.

In this example, assume that the customer provided Regent as the Costpoint system name:

  • Regent: System name for the Costpoint Production database
  • RegentConfig: System name for the Costpoint Implementation database
  • RegentTest: System name for the Costpoint Implementation database
  • RegentSbox: System name for the Costpoint Sandbox database
  • RegentWIC: System name for the Costpoint database provide for WIC development work
