Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Supported Browsers and Authentication Methods

The following browsers and authentication methods are supported with Costpoint.

Supported Browsers

Access Costpoint with the following supported browsers:
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Edge
  • Firefox

Authentication Methods

Costpoint offers multiple methods of user verification for logging in. Based on your organization's preferred authentication methods, you can log in to Costpoint using one or more of the following options:
  • SAML identity provider authentication
  • Kerberos authentication
  • Password-less biometric / FIDO authentication (e.g. - fingerprint)
  • A 4-digit PIN on a mobile device (not available for GovCon Cloud Moderate customers)
Note: For GCC Cloud Moderate customers, only SAML and FIDO authentication methods are available. Both methods are supported on a device with Costpoint progressive web app (PWA).
Note: The Progressive Web App (PWA) supports all authentication methods.
