Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manage Project Org Based Security

Use the Manage Project Org Based Security screen to modify project budget security rights by user.

The Role of Global Security

Depending on how global security of Planning is configured, you can modify rights for reporting and budget creation and approval, or you can only modify reporting rights.

Global security for Planning is based on the option selected from the Project Security to be based on setting that is located on the Projects tab of the Configuration Settings Screen ( Administration > Administration Controls ).

When this setting is selected as Org ID, you can modify all rights, but if it is selected as Project Budget Security, you can only modify reporting rights.

Note: By default, users are granted access to all projects that fall under their Security Org ID, as designated in User Maintenance, as well as rights added in Manage Security Org Rights ( Administration > Administration Controls ).
