EBOM Assy Subtask

Use this subtask to view all engineering change notice (ECN) engineering bills of materials (EBOM) assembly rows for the selected ECN part row where change-to and original parts exist for the ECN.

Engineering Change Notice

This field displays the selected ECN ID.

Description

The adjacent, unlabeled field displays the selected ECN's description.

Status

This field displays the status of the selected ECN

EBOM Chng Assy

This table displays the EBOM assembly rows where change-to parts exist for the ECN.

Field Description
Action Code

This field displays the ECN's action codes.

Line

This field displays the line number of the component part.

Find No

This field displays the ECN's find number.

Assembly Part

This field displays the assembly part ID for the ECN.

Assy Rev

This field displays the assembly part's revision number.

Assembly Description

This field displays a description of the assembly part.

Part Security

This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the replacement part is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the part is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part:

  • Unrestricted: The part is not subject to data security restrictions.
  • Restricted: The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are authorized to access detailed part information.
  • ***UNAUTHORIZED***: The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color.
Note: The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.
Component Type

This field displays the component type of the part.

Quantity Type

This field displays the quantity type of the part.

Quantity

This field displays the quantity of the part.

Make/Buy

This field displays either Make or Buy status of the component part.

Configuration ID

This field displays the configuration ID of the part.

Configuration Description

This field displays a description of the part's configuration.

Effective Start Date

This field displays the effective start date of the part.

Effective End Date

This field displays the effective end date of the part.

Component Release

This field displays the component part's release status.

Component Comments

This field displays comments about the part.

Assembly BOM Release Status

This field displays the assembly's release status.

Assembly Part Status

This field displays the status of the assembly part.

Assembly Prov Part Type

If the Assembly Part is a provisional part, this field displays the provisional part type code. This field is null if the Assembly Part is a standard part.

Component BOM Release Status

This field displays the BOM release status of the component if it is a subassembly.

Omit Requirements

This field displays either Y(Yes) or N (No) to indicate whether or not requirements can be omitted for the selected part.

Stop Explosion

This field displays either Y(Yes) or N (No) to indicate a stop explosion for the selected part.

Scrap

This field displays the selected part's scrap percentage.

Reference Designators

This field displays view reference designators for the selected component line.

EBOM Orig Assy

This table displays the EBOM assembly rows where original parts exist for the ECN.

Action Code

This field displays the ECN's action code.

Line

This field displays the line number of the original assembly part.

Find No

This field displays the find number for the EBOM assembly.

Assembly Part

This field displays the assembly part for the EBOM.

Assy Rev

This field displays the revision number of the assembly part.

Assembly Description

This field displays the description of the assembly part.

Part Security
