Copy Assemblies Subtask

Use this subtask to copy an assembly from another part/revision. This subtask is disabled if the Assembly Part field is populated for the selected line on the EBOM Chng Assy subtask.

Component Part to Copy

Field	Description
Part	Enter, or click to select, the component part ID from which you want to copy assembly parts. The component part ID must be a valid one from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
Revision	Enter, or click to select, the component part revision from which you want to copy assembly parts. The component part revision must be a valid one from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen.
Part Lookup Type	From the drop-down list, select the type of the parts that will be shown when you click in the Part and Revision fields. Valid options are: Standard Provisional
Description	This field displays the part description.
Part Security	This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the replacement part is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the part is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part: Unrestricted: The part is not subject to data security restrictions. Restricted: The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are authorized to access detailed part information. ***UNAUTHORIZED***: The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color. Note: The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.
As-of Date	Enter, or click to select, the as-of effective date of the EBOM for which you want to pull assemblies. Only assemblies in effect as of this date will be copied.
Configuration	Enter, or click to select, the EBOM configuration for which you want to pull assemblies. This field displays only if you have selected the Use Configuration IDs check box on the Configure Bills of Material Settings screen. Only those assemblies in effect for this configuration will be copied.
Copy EBOM Assy	Click this button to copy an EBOM assembly from the selected part.
